    Yes it does a bit! But you can use it perfectly well without going into what all those sort and selection things are. By default (i.e. if you leave the top things alone) it will show you all the transactions you yourself have entered, with the latest first. However, it is a really powerful way of looking up things like, for example, has xyz paid for abc? The various selectors are described here.

    One or two things worth remembering:

    . You can save the default selections by pressing Save Selection when you first come into the panel. That way you can restore the defaults easily if you get into a mess.

    . The transaction table itself can be sorted by its columns by clicking on the column heading. If you want a sort within a sort, hold the Shift key down while clicking the column heading.

    . The width of the columns on the transaction list can be changed by dragging the divider between the headings.
