hontreasurer.com
is a membership and bookkeeping system for small and medium sized (from
a few thousand Pounds, Euros or Dollars up to about a million Pounds,
Euros or Dollars) Clubs & Societies (which
may also be charities). For this type of organisation, it has the
following significant advantages:
- hontreasurer.com
has the facilities you need because it was made by people who run these
type of organisations. For example, there are comprehensive facilities
for selecting and sorting contacts and emailing them or printing labels
for them.
- The
bookkeeping system is comprehensive catering for any number of Bank and
Petty Cash accounts. It is designed for Honorary Treasurers who may
have no previous experience of bookkeeping, yet the same information
can be used by a professional to produce formal accounts.
- Because
the information is stored centrally, membership and accounting records
are available to any person who is authorised. Crucially, different
information can be made available to different officers; for example
accounting records to the Treasurer and membership records to
Secretaries, and all information to the Chair.

Treasurer's duties without incurring further fees or transferring data.

usage of the system is, as far as possible, in layman's terms. For
example, when a cheque is received, the user chooses the option "Cheque
Received".

was originally written for
the East London Late Starters Orchestra (ELLSO), a London Charity
devoted to the teaching of Stringed Instruments to those who start
later in life. hontreasurer.com is a system which has very low
startup costs in terms of installation and learning, and which reduces
the load on the volunteer Treasurer by allowing event organisers
and the Membership Secretary to share much of the routine work of
entering financial transactions.
