OK. You have more than one user. hontreasurer.com allows any number of users, but they must all have a "Role" - and the role determines what they are allowed to do. If you are content to let anyone do anything (including delete your user, for example!) you can go onto to Users. If not, you must set up appropriate Roles.

Choose Standing Data/Role Maintenance. You will see the existing Administrator Role in the list and, if you want to look at what is allows (nearly everything!), press Edit.

To add a new Role, press Add and fill in a name. Try "Secretary" by way of example. Now press Apply. This is important because the Actions cannot be added to it until that's done. Now press Add to the right of Current Actions. You will see a list of Actions and underneath choices for Allow Add, Allow Edit and Allow Delete. we would like the Secretary to be able to deal only with Contacts (Members) so choose Members and then check Add and Edit. Now press OK and you will see Members added to the list of Current Actions. That's it.

If, later, you want to add new roles for dealing with Transactions (e.g. Treasurer), there are selections for different types of Transaction. They are called Post .... Just note that none of these will work without the Action "Transactions" begin added as well.
